Watercolors and Ink sketches

A few leaves from an itinerant album...

Watercolor is one of the softest yet most demanding painting methods, capturing spontaneity and light with delicate evocation. I often use ink alongside watercolor to emphasize certain areas or add depth and texture, bringing more relief to the composition. It’s also a quick and enduring way to preserve memories while on the go. These excerpts from my watercolor album — often created on the move — span landscapes from Scotland to the United States, offering glimpses of famous landmarks or charming, lesser-known villages.

Come forth into the light of things,
Let Nature be your teacher.
