About the artist

Rooted in the rich cultural heritage of Lebanon and Switzerland, my journey as an artist is a dialogue between diverse worlds, each shaping my pursuit of beauty and meaning. My fascination with art in its many forms — from classical music to literature and painting — led to a solo exhibition in 2010, where I shared works reflecting the breadth of my experiences. In 2013, I was honored to receive the City of Geneva Prize for the International Day of Peace, a recognition that celebrated the universal language of peace through art and was prominently displayed in the heart of the city. More recently, in 2023, my artistic journey reached a new milestone when one of my paintings was selected for the Royal Academy's Summer Exhibition, a testament to my evolving vision and enduring passion for art.

"For a long time, nothing, and suddenly one has the right eyes."

Rainer Maria Rilke, Letters on Cézanne

Creative Process

As an artist, I draw inspiration from a myriad of sources that shape the world around me – ranging from the illustrious works of past artists to the beauty of nature and architecture. It is, however, the human face that captivates me the most, serving as a quintessential canvas of unequalled beauty.
My art is a reflection of keen observation and heightened sensitivity, allowing me to perceive the subtle nuances of the world. In my creations, I lean towards an elegant aesthetic, preferring to suggest rather than overtly display. Through this delicate approach, I invite viewers to explore the intricate depths of emotion and imagination within my work.
